     Shawney Rae lives with her amazing husband and an assortment of rescue animals in a place affectionately known as The Zen Den.  She has been writing and photographing for over 50 years, sharing life lessons and animal antics.  Her passions

include family, cooking, horseback riding, gardening, spreading love, and working in the world of animal rescue.  She is especially passionate about the treatment and well-being of farm animals, believing every soul deserves love and kindness. 

     Her passion to inspire others is engraved on the pages of her books, every page written from her heart to yours.
